PREMIER PADEL SANTIAGO P1 RECAP

PREMIER PADEL SANTIAGO P1

The Premier Padel Santiago P1, held in March 2025 in Santiago, Chile, was marked by controversy and uncertainty.

The men's final of the tournament pitted Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto against Juan Lebrón and Franco Stupaczuk. However, the match could not be played due to Franco Stupaczuk suffering from a feverish condition. As a result, Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto were automatically declared champions of the Santiago Premier Padel P1.

For their part, the women's final featured Ariana Sánchez and Paula Josemaría against Gemma Triay and Delfina Brea and will be remembered for having to be suspended due to extreme humidity.

The tournament was also marked by controversy and polemic. Some players and fans criticized the organization of the tournament, while others praised the level of play.

Despite these setbacks, padel fans enjoyed a high level of play and exciting matches. We hope for better luck in the future and that the organization takes these unforeseen events into account for future tournaments.
